A high pressure system south of WA extends a ridge over South Australia. This ridge will persist over SA this weekend as the high moves slowly east to be south of the Bight by tomorrow night. The high is forecast to hover over SA on Monday, then weaken and step back to the west on Tuesday allowing a series of fronts to pass over the southeast on Wednesday and Thursday.
