- A high pressure system south of WA extends a ridge over South Australia. A trough will pass over the southeast this evening in the southwesterly flow on the eastern flank of this approaching high. The ridge will persist over SA this weekend as the high moves slowly east to be south of the Bight by Sunday night. The high is forecast to weaken and step back to the west early next week allowing another trough to pass over the southeast Tuesday night.
