Weather Situation
A trough will contract off the east coast of Victoria late Wednesday evening with a cold front set to follow on Thursday. A cold southerly airstream will establish in the wake of this front with another trough lingering in Bass Strait into Thursday evening. This trough will linger off the Gippsland coast on Friday with a low pressure system establishing in the Tasman Sea. A high pressure system will begin to slowly move in from the west on Friday, centring itself over Victoria on Sunday.
