Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge is in place over central and eastern parts of the state with a low pressure trough lingering over WA, close to the SA border, until Saturday. Over the weekend, a high pressure system to the south of SA is forecast to continue extending a ridge across the state, as it moves slowly east, to be centred over Victoria by Monday. A cold front is then forecast to move across the state on Tuesday, as another ridge pushes in behind the front.
