A high pressure system south of WA extends a ridge over southern parts of the state while a weak trough lies across central Australia near the norther border. The high will drift over the southeast on Thursday and into the Tasman Sea on Friday, allowing a trough and low pressure system to move across SA on Friday. A brief high pressure system settles over SA on Saturday before another trough and low starts to move across from WA on Sunday.
