A high pressure system over the state will move east tonight to be over NSW Thursday morning. A weak trough will move over South Australian waters on Thursday. A cold front will pass over the south on Friday followed by a southwesterly flow that is expected to persist through the weekend owing to a ridge of high pressure extending over northern parts of the state.
