- A ridge of high pressure across the south of SA will weaken during Saturday as the high pressure centre moves into the Tasman Sea. A broad trough of low pressure lies over the north and will move south today and Saturday. The trough will move eastwards during Sunday as a cold front moves across the south. A broad area of low pressure will persist across the north early next week as a new high pressure ridge becomes established over waters to the south.
