A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea is directing a northerly airstream over SA, ahead of a trough of low pressure approaching from the west late today. The trough is then forecast to move over southern SA during Saturday, and linger through inland parts of SA into Sunday. Another high pressure system is expected to move over waters to the south over the weekend, extending a ridge over southern SA on Sunday, before a second trough moves into the west on Monday and across the south on Tuesday.
