A ridge of high pressure persists across South Australia this week as the high centre moves to the south of the Bight on Thursday, continuing eastwards on Friday, to be in the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A trough embedded in the southwesterly flow around the ridge clips the southeast on Wednesday morning.
