A high pressure system southeast of the state slowly drifts further to the southeast over Tasmania today and is forecast to be located in the Tasman Sea this afternoon, while extending a ridge over much of South Australia through to Tuesday. A trough of low pressure moves into far southwestern parts later on Tuesday and moves southeast across the state into Wednesday.
