Weather Situation

A broad trough of low pressure lies over east and northern parts of the State. This area of low pressure is expected to linger over the northeast Saturday before moving east Sunday with the next low pressure system that develops south of the bight. A high pressure ridge then extends over the west and south during Sunday, and throughout by Monday. A persistent high pressure ridge remains over the State and Coastal Waters during Tuesday and Wednesday.
