Northerly 15 to 20 knots shifting west to southwesterly in the middle of the day then becoming variable about 10 knots in the late afternoon.

Around 1 metre, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres during the morning, then decreasing below 1 metre by early evening.

Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres south of Streaky Bay.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system centred to the northeast of Tasmania extends a ridge over the southeast of the continent. This high and ridge will move eastwards over the Tasman Sea in coming days. A series of slow moving troughs will enter the west of the state today then move across the state on Wednesday and Thursday as a couple of cold fronts will move across waters to the south. A new high pressure system will become established south of the Bight during Friday.
