- A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea is directing a northerly airstream across the state. A trough of low pressure will move into the far west this afternoon before moving across the south and west on Tuesday and across the northeast on Wednesday. A cold front also clips the southeast of the state on Tuesday followed by another cold front on Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure then becomes established south of the state.
