A high pressure system near Tasmania will move east into the Tasman Sea, allowing a trough across the northeast to move south and link up with a cold front moving across the Southern Ocean today. A strong ridge of high pressure begins to build over southern parts of SA on Thursday, pushing the trough back north again later in the week.
