This area of low pressure is expected to linger over the northeast today before moving east Sunday with the next low pressure system that develops south of the bight. A high pressure ridge then extends over the west and south during Sunday, and throughout by Monday. A persistent high pressure ridge remains over the State and Coastal Waters during Tuesday and Wednesday.
