A high pressure system over NSW will weaken and merge with another high pressure system to the south of SA today as a low pressure trough hovers over WA close to the SA border. The high to the south will move slowly east over the weekend to be centred over Victoria by Monday, strengthening a ridge over South Australia into next week.
