Weather Situation

A trough extends eastwards across North Queensland Waters from ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji [1002 hPa] centred over the northwest of the state. The trough is forecast to slowly contract inland over the next few days, before extending across Cape York Peninsula early next week as the monsoon trough.
