Weather Situation

A weak pressure gradient persists over the north Queensland waters. A weakening trough will cross the waters south of Cairns on Tuesday. A ridge will extend over the north Queensland waters in the wake of the trough, as a high moves east across southern Australia. The ridge will strengthen on Wednesday as the high moves into the Tasman Sea.
