Weather Situation

A ridge over the South Queensland Waters will weaken and contract northward over the remainder of the weekend, as a weak trough becomes slow moving over inland southeast Queensland. Another stronger trough may start to move northward over the South Queensland Waters from Tuesday next week. Fresh to strong north to northwesterly winds over the far southern waters south of Sandy Cape will moderate a little from Sunday.
