Weather Situation

An equatorial trough extends east from ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji [1000 hPa] centred over the northern interior and across North Queensland waters. The trough is forecast linger and slowly weaken over coming days, with monsoonal-like northwesterly winds to the north of the trough.
