Weather Situation
A trough over the southeast waters will weaken today, with a ridge extending over the remaining south Queensland waters. A second trough will move north across the southeast Queensland waters on Thursday and continue north of the Sunshine Coast on Friday, leaving the south Queensland waters late on Friday. A firm ridge will extend across the south Queensland waters in the wake of the trough, as a high approaches Tasmania.
