A high pressure system over the south of the country extends a ridge across the Northern Territory. This ridge will persist for the week, bringing moderate southeasterly winds to coastal waters, becoming fresh about the Arafura and Gove Peninsula Coast later tomorrow, easing through Wednesday as the ridge moves further east.
