A cold front that crossed Sydney Waters today brought fresh west to southwesterly winds in its wake. Winds are forecast to turn southerly over the coming days and gradually ease as a high moves into southeastern Australia later in the week before entering the Tasman Sea over the weekend. Then, another cold front looks set to brush the coastal waters early next week.
