Weather Situation

A trough off the central parts of the coast is bringing fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds to the Sydney Local Waters. Winds will turn southeasterly and strengthen as the trough deepens near northern parts of the coast from late Sunday, bringing fresh to strong and gusty winds and to Sydney Local Waters early next week. The trough may continue to deepen later in the week, with the strongest winds dependent on its location.
