- Weak westerly associated with a trough crosses the Sydney Waters this morning. Then, another trough over the northern inland is forecast to deepen to a low pressure system and traverses the northeast quarter of the state on Thursday, before entering the coastal waters of the Hunter or Mid North Coast on Friday and heading offshore during the weekend, with fresh south to southwesterly winds over the Sydney Waters in its wake.
