Fresh southerly winds across Sydney Local Waters today. Coastal waters turn north to northwesterly under the influence of a high pressure ridge from Monday. The next cold front is forecast to move up the coast as a strong southerly change during Tuesday reaching Sydney during the afternoon before being replaced by the next high pressure system during Wednesday. The winds are expected to gradually turn north to northwesterly again during Wednesday, then freshen during Thursday as the next trough and cold front will approach from inland NSW.
