A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea directs an east to northeasterly flow through the Sydney Waters. Winds will freshen and tend more north to northeasterly today and Friday as the high slips further to the east. A cold front and trough will then enter the Tasman Sea during the weekend, bringing a southerly change that will pass through the Sydney Waters early Sunday.
