A southerly change has moved through Sydney Waters, with fresh to strong winds shifting southeasterly later tonight. Winds will gradually turn easterly mid to late this week as a strong high pressure system passes to the south of the state. The high will then enter the Tasman Sea and become slow-moving, maintaining east to northeasterly winds through the weekend.
