Northeasterly winds are being generated by a coastal trough along the north coast and a ridge of high pressure extending to the south. A cold front is forecast to cross Sydney during early Monday morning as a southerly change behind which a new ridge of high pressure is forecast to settle bringing southeasterly winds through mid week.
