- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the New South Wales coast. The system will slowly drift east and weaken as a cold front and its associated trough enter the state's southwest later Tuesday. The trough will then continue heading north, crossing Sydney Waters as a fresh southerly change on Wednesday afternoon, before stalling about the Mid North Coast on Thursday and gradually weakening later in the week.
