- Weather Situation
- A low-pressure system over the Tasman Sea continues to head eastwards, while a high-pressure ridge extends across the state's west. A series of troughs look set to brush the state's east bringing windy conditions and powerful waves to Sydney Waters during today and for the next few days. Winds and waves will ease later this week as the troughs head to southeast Queensland and this will be followed by a strong high-pressure system drifting across Bass Strait. The high will maintain onshore east to southeasterly airstream along Sydney Waters as it enters the Tasman Sea during the weekend.
