A trough will move across the state's south and west today as a cold front passes to the south. Then, the system will cross Sydney Waters this evening, bringing a fresh to strong southerly wind change in its wake. Southerly winds will gradually ease and turn east to southeasterly early next week as a new high enters the Bight and extends a ridge across the coastal waters.
