A high over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over northern coastal waters, while a trough has stalled about the Hunter coast, bringing south to southeasterly winds to Sydney Waters in it's wake. Then, a series of high pressure systems will pass to the south, maintaining moist onshore easterly winds through the second half of the week.
