A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is extending a ridge along the NSW coastline, while a trough is brushing the south, reaching Sydney Waters as a southerly change early Wednesday. Then, another high pressure ridge is expected to drift across the state midweek, before a strong cold front moves across Sydney Waters during the weekend, with a fresh southerly wind change in its wake.
