A strong high pressure system in the Tasman Sea continues to drive fresh southerly winds to the Sydney Waters today while a weak trough develops off the Sydney Coast. Winds will gradually ease before turning northerly on Saturday as a ridge from the high builds over the Sydney Waters. Then, a cold front and trough crosses the Sydney Waters on Sunday bringing fresh westerly winds in it's wake.
