A strong cold front crossing the state from the west is bringing strong northeasterly winds ahead of it for Sydney waters. This front will bring a strong southerly change to Sydney waters this morning, before winds tend northeasterly on Monday as ridge builds along the coast in the wake of the front. Another cold front will brush southern and central parts of the coast on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing a southerly change to Sydney waters midweek.
