A southerly change has crossed Sydney Local Waters and is bringing southerly winds in its wake. A high pressure system over southern NSW will extend a ridge over Sydney Waters during the weekend and much of next week as it moves only slowly eastwards. The high will reaching the southern Tasman Sea late in the week, maintaining settled weather over the area.
