- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the New South Wales coast. The system will slowly drift east and weaken as a cold front and its associated trough continue moving through the southern districts today. The trough will then continue heading north, crossing Sydney Waters as a fresh southerly change on Wednesday afternoon, before stalling about the Mid North Coast on Thursday and gradually weakening. Winds will turn northerly later in the week through the weekend, apart from a brief incursion of southerly winds on Saturday, as another high entering the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the coast.
