Weather Situation
A low pressure system near Tasmania is slowly moving eastwards, maintaining moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds over the southern and central coastal waters. Winds will gradually ease and become light and variable later in the week as the low heads to the Tasman Sea and weakens, while a high pressure system moves across the state. Winds will then turn northerly and strengthen through the weekend ahead of a strong cold front that will cross the coastal waters late this weekend or early next week.
