- A ridge extends over the NSW coast from a high situated over the Tasman Sea, maintaining northeasterly winds over NSW waters. A cold front will bring a southerly change to the coast today, starting from the southern coast in the early morning and moving through to the northern coast by the evening. In the wake of the cold front, another ridge will form along the NSW coast, maintaining southerly winds along the coast Monday, with winds shifting easterly then northeasterly Tuesday and Wednesday as the ridge moves east.
