Weather Situation
A broad high pressure ridge continues to build from the west, while a cold front is entering the far south coast. This front will move up the southern and central parts of the coast through the rest of today, before crossing the north coast early Tuesday, bringing fresh to strong, gusty southerly winds in its wake. This system will be followed by another cold front crossing the coastal waters on Wednesday, with another bout of fresh to strong southerly winds. Winds will gradually ease later in the week as a high pressure system drifts across the coastal waters, before turning east to northeasterly as the high enters the Tasman Sea by the weekend.
