- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is bringing east to northeasterly winds over Sydney Waters this afternoon. Winds will turn weak westerly this evening into early Wednesday morning as a trough associated with a low over Bass Strait crosses Sydney Waters. Then, another trough over the northern inland is forecast to deepen to a low pressure system and traverses the northeast quarter on Thursday, before entering the coastal waters of the Hunter or Mid North Coast on Friday and heading offshore during the weekend, with fresh south to southwesterly winds over Sydney Waters in its wake.
