Weather Situation

A coastal trough and associated low off the north coast combine with a high pressure ridge over the far southern coastal waters promoting strong south to southeasterly winds and large and powerful waves along the north coast during the weekend. Meanwhile, the ridge will build over the southern coastal waters ahead of the high crossing during the weekend, before spreading north during early next week.
