North to northwesterly winds will shift to fresh west to southwesterly late this morning or early Sunday afternoon with the passage of a cold front, and then will be predominantly southwesterly during Sunday following a second front skimming the region. During the first half of next week the winds will tend south to southeasterly as a trough over the Tasman Sea moves near to the coast.
