A high pressure system near South Australia will slowly move east over the coming days as a low pressure trough deepens along the northern New South Wales coast, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds on Wednesday and moderate to fresh southerly winds on Thursday. The trough will form a low pressure system over the southern Coral Sea or northern Tasman Sea on Friday or during the weekend, shifting winds to the southeast.
