- Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, reaching up to 30 knots offshore early in the morning. Winds turning west to northwesterly in the late morning and early afternoon.

- 1.5 to 2.5 metres, decreasing to 1 metre around midday, increasing to 1 to 1.5 metres north of Moruya Heads later in the evening.

- A low pressure system over the the Tasman Sea is moving away to the east whilst a ridge of high pressure is building from the northwest, bringing fresh to strong south to southwest winds to the coast today, A cold front will move through the state during the weekend maintaining fresh to locally strong west to southwest winds through to Monday. A more vigorous front and series of low pressure troughs next week will bring fresh to strong west to northwest winds from Tuesday.
