Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge across the coastal waters, directing moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds. Northerly winds will strengthen through the midweek ahead of a series of cold fronts crossing the state. Winds will then turn west to southwesterly later in the week following the passage of the fronts.
