Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight extends a ridge over NSW, while a trough lies over southern coastal waters, maintaining a fresh to strong southwesterly flow over coastal waters today. Winds will gradually ease and turn southerly through the weekend as the trough moves further offshore, while the high moves eastwards. Winds will turn southeasterly by Monday as the high enters the Tasman Sea.
