Fresh to strong southwesterly winds will persist over the Coastal Waters today. Winds are forecast to turn southerly over the coming days and gradually ease as a high moves into southeastern Australia later in the week before entering the Tasman Sea over the weekend. Then, another cold front is forecast to cross the coastal waters early next week.
