Weather Situation
A high over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge over the coastal waters, while a trough near the Hunter Coast weakens today. Another trough extends from Queensland into the northern Tasman Sea and is associated with a low that is forecast to move further into the Tasman over the coming days. From Thursday, the next trough looks set to cross the coastal waters into Friday, with fresh gusty southerly winds in its wake.
