Weather Situation

A broad high pressure ridge continues to build over the coastal waters in the wake of a cold front that brushed the coast this morning and has since moved into the Tasman Sea. Another cold front will make its way up the coast on Wednesday, bringing fresh to strong southerly winds. Winds will gradually ease later in the week, then turn east to northeasterly as a high pressure system traverses the state's south and enters the Tasman Sea by the weekend.
