Weather Situation
Winds are turning north to northwesterly today through Tuesday as a high over the state moves into the Tasman Sea ahead of an approaching cold front. The front is forecast to cross the coastal waters on Wednesday, with fresh to strong west to southwesterly winds over the southern and central coastal waters in its wake. Winds will then turn southerly and gradually ease as another high moves into southeastern Australia later in the week.
