A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea today directs a northwesterly flow over the state, ahead of a fresh and gusty southerly change moving across the the coastal waters on Monday, reaching the QLD border by Tuesday. A second high pressure system is forecast to slip south and enter the Tasman Sea by mid-week, turning the winds east to northeasterly.
